1. Management

• Oversees all areas of the millwork hub to ensure and maintain high standards of quality, safety and service.

• Develops budget for plant and carries out the plan to meet that budget.

• Responsible for the P&L



2. Personnel

• Identifies and implements training and development programs for all employees, including hands-on training.

• Monitors employee performance and counsels employees on improvement opportunities to ensure standards are met.

• Oversees the Administrative Assistant in all aspect of their job.

• Serves as the back-up for the Administrative Assistant and Door Foreman positions.



3. Production & Scheduling

• Initially responsible to act as Dispatcher and manage the warehouse employees and drivers. Will also be responsible for receiving and delivering of all inventory.

• Responsible to schedule the trim deliveries, warehouse pick lists, and door production.

• Ensures that production and delivery schedules are met and are optimizing lead times.

• Responsible to learn (training provided) and understand Synchronous Flow methods; with the ability to implement and manage on a daily basis.

• Responsible to learn the Door Production Module, how it works and its daily functions.



4. Purchasing

• Responsible to work with Corporate’s Centralized Purchasing dept. on all incoming deliveries and potential future needs.

• Responsible to work with the local market's Purchasing Dept. on any needs that are less than container volume.



5. Inventory Control

• Ensures inventory is properly accounted for and accurate.

• Responsible for properly delegating and overseeing all aspects of inventory according to policies and procedures.



6. Safety

• Directs and facilitates best practices to ensure safety standards are met during production.

•Ensures that all machines and equipment is being properly used and maintained.
