A Kight Home Center (a division of Carter Lumber) Delivery Specialist with CDL A or B is responsible for transporting and dropping off materials while providing professional customer service to contractors and do-it-yourselfers. This is accomplished by appropriately using company vehicles and equipment to deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner. Safety, building loads, inventory control and product knowledge are all components of this position. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.



What you'll do:



Deliver building materials to our professional builder customers across the greater Evansville area. This is not a drop and hook job. You will be required to unload your deliveries from the truck with a truck-mounted forklift. However, your truck will be loaded for you at our facility.



You will also be responsible for all standard company, state and federal procedures involved with operating a vehicle of this class.
